[Oz-mooney] It's tough on GA "Down Under"

Further to the way in which GA is being marginalised by various levels of
government, this is my recent experience.

I recently returned in JDU to Albury to discover that the Albury City
Council (an exemplar of municipal incompetence) had ripped up the taxi way
accessing our hangar - completely preventing plane access. Lucky JDU was not
in the hangar when they did the work. They had not even tried to contact me
prior (they had spoken to one of the guys in the hangar after the event
saying that if he needed access they would "see what they could do"). After
several weeks of not being able to use what we pay them for (including
blaming weather delays - even though we are in the middle of a drought) I
have not been able to find anybody who even cares.
