He would of been very interesting to talk to.

>From my recollection the captain of the Viscount 800 elected to limp into 
Winton/Longreach and not put it down on pretty flat terrain. Bad call !!

The main spar buckled and tore off the fuselage. Macarthur Jobe has a really 
detailed account in one of his crash disaster books. VERY Interesting 
reading.
